Welcome, and thank you for visiting Calminspire Counselling. My name is Premila Ashcroft and I am a therapist providing both short- and long-term therapy to individuals in Bedford and the surrounding areas.

About Counselling

As an accredited counsellor, I offer a great level of professionalism in the wide variety of services I provide; working to enable you increase your internal knowledge, your external knowledge and your living skills to prosper in all stages of your life and enable you to improve your overall position in life.

As a professional, certified, accredited counsellor I work empathically with you, in a warm, safe and supportive environment. Here you may talk freely in a confidential and non-judgemental setting. I offer a comprehensive and professional service to enable you to enhance your way of life.

As an Accredited counsellor I abide by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Code of Ethics and Practice (BACP) and adhere to the particular requirement for regular, individual supervision.

Areas of Specialism

I work with Survivors of Sexual Abuse.

I support and enable those suffering with Eating Disorders.

I work with those with Anger Management issues.

I support and enable those experiencing Domestic Abuse.

I offer one-to-one help to those recovering from Drug and/or Alcohol abuse and have a number of years experience working with individuals and the addictions affecting them.

I have also facilitated groups applying 12-step and Anger Management approaches.

I work with those who have experienced trauma.

I offer Short term Solution Focused/Brief Therapy.

I use Narrative therapy, Solution Focused therapy and Psychodynamic techniques when working with Couples.

Individuals : £55

Couples : £75


Concessions are available which can be discussed in the first session.

Evening sessions, Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings are always very popular with those working full time or those with children.
